Mendocino Rhodesian Ridgeback are bred for soundness, function, temperament and type.  The goal is to improve each generation while preserving the breed we all adore.  Genetic health screenings are performed on all dogs before being bred.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks have been my passion since 2009 when I bought my first Ridgeback "Mendo" while living in San Diego, CA. Mendo captured my heart with his sweet temperament and quickly became a mama's boy. Initially unsure about owning a show dog, I reluctantly agreed...and now rarely miss a dog show in Northern California. I am a member of the Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club and also a member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United Stated.  When I lived in San Diego (2005-2014) I was on the board of the San Diego Rhodesian Ridgeback Club and also served as president. I then spent 8 years as a board member for the Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club, hosting many Ridgeback focused events over the years. I am happy to be taking a break from board meetings to focus on my dogs and human children.
