It was long and stressful but mama Abbie and all 9 pups are home and healthy. After a tough and LONG whelping at home which only produced two puppies (orange and blue boys), we headed in to Orangevalle Vet for a c-section. This last resort was the only choice, as it turned out two pups were attempting to enter the birth canal at the same time rendering them "stuck" (for lack of a better word). Luckily, our decision to go to the vet when we did resulted in all 7 remaining puppies to be alive and healthy. Abbie is also doing great, she already loves her babies sooo much! More to come...
